NYC Engagement Session

New York will always hold a very special place for Mark and me. We got engaged while I was living in the city so when Mark came for a visit during the summer, I knew I wanted to capture our time in the city.

I did some intense research and found Rachel Leiner on Instagram. Her photos where so natural and well edited that we had to have her for our shoot.

The day of the shoot came and it happened to be the absolute hottest day of the whole year in NYC (convenient) – the heat wave of 2019. When I tell you we’ve never felt that kind of heat in our lives, I am 100% not being dramatic (and this is coming from two Miami natives).

But regardless of the heat, Rachel was (and is) the whole package. She is so professional, loving, fun and just straight up talented. The whole experience was a blast and the final product was everything we could’ve hoped for and more.
